Those of you who know me, know that I harbour a great interest in the Maya. They, and their architecture, facinate me. I've even done
a thesis on them, as well as a term paper for a course, all tought by Dr Stan Loten at the School of Arch @ Carleton University. (He's
a pretty good expert in the field, having worked on the first 5 years of the Tikal dig!) I also have been to Mexico... check out the one pic in
the pics section of this site. But this particular page is just to show off some Maya dates. -grin-
This is the date of my birth in the Maya Long Count. There are two versions, depending if you are using the
584,285 or the 584,283 correlation...
