An amusing (?) little concept that has recently come to mind. Presented raw.

Tiers of Friends

3 Tiers of friends - Where Friend could be interpreted as Friend or Acquaintance:

Tier I: A friend you would call up and just want to hang out with or do stuff with on an individual basis.

Tier II: A friend you might call up to do stuff with in a group activity/include in a group activity.

Tier III: A friend you would call up only in a large party-like situation, where the # of people there is the main thing.

My current feeling is that I seem to have been unfortunate and unable to find many Tier Is… I think most people I know view me as Tier III, with a smattering of Tier IIs.
