Of course, our astute readers may ask, "Of those people out on your front page list of 'friends', are they all, indeed, friends, or… ?"

And to that I would answer,

Most are, or were at some time, friends. Real friends. Some are acquaintances, oui. But most are or were friends. Some have drifted, some have dropped me from their immediate radar, but they remain.

That is not to say some are the closest of friends and remain so. }:)

But I thought it would be a bit much to try to fit into the title bar friends/acquaintances/peopleIknow :P
