I offer many products for sale. My best sales are prints. All of the images in the ART GALLERY are available for sale as prints, both black and white and color. I apologise, but I will not list every print I have for sale on this page, nor will I provide the full-size images. This is not meant as an inconvenience, but simply as a copyright protection device. Putting my artwork on the net makes it public domain... and I am less likely to sell a piece of artwork that a person can easily print out for free. I hope you'll be happy with the thumbnails in the Gallery.

For $10, I will make a custom con badge for any conventions you might attend. The most popular are badges featuring a "persona" of yourself. The badges are 4" x 3" and are hand drawn, colored in colored pencil and markers, and come in a plastic cover and a strap so you can wear them anytime without fear of losing them or damaging them.

$10. These are much like the badges, but the artwork is done on a bookmark! You can carry around an original piece of artwork anywhere you go and show it to your friends! These bookmarks feature characters drawn to your specifications... the bookmark size is 6" x 2.5".

My rates for commissions are extremely variable. The price of a given piece will depend on the amount of detail you want, the size of the picture, and the number of characters in the image. Here's my base rates for one character, 9" x 12", simple background:

Pencil Sketch: $10
Inked Picture: $25
Color, Markers: $35
Color, Colored Pencil: $45
Color, Watercolors: $65
Color, Mixed Media: $40-$60
Full color cel (hand painted acetate, framed /w airbrushed background): $75

I will be happy to design logos or web graphics by commission. The rates will be a bit lower than my base rates, unless you want a 9" x 12" web graphic.

Prices are figured by how much time I'll be putting into a piece. A pencil sketch takes only about an hour, while an animation cel takes me over a week from start to finish. I work best in colored pencil. My watercolors are nice as well, but they also take me quite a while to do. I do not like coloring in markers, as the artwork produced lacks the softness and depth a watercolor or colored pencil image has. If you *really* want a marker colored picture, I would suggest purchasing a mixed media instead, so I can bolster it up with pencils a little bit.

All copyrights remain with the creator of the character. I'll be happy to do a commission of one of my characters for you, but the copyright remains with me. I also own the publishing rights to all commissions, which includes print sales, portfolio sales, hand colored print sales, and fanzine publication. You may purchase publishing rights for an additonal $75. My retaining of publishing rights helps keep commission costs down, as I'm able to make up the extra bit through sales. All copyrights will be acknowledged on every commission.

Currently, I am extremely backlogged with commissions. If you want something complex, it will probably take me about a year to get it to you. I should be back on track by January of '97. The average waiting period for a commission when I am not suffering a backlog is 2-4 months.
