[IMAGE]A group shot of a bunch of character from my "Blood From a Stone" story. Amber sits on the stage grinning smugly while Esma yells at her. Two of Esma's thugs stand behind her observing. Kryst stands in the background wondering why these things always have to happen to him.

[IMAGE]His favorite toy. A picture of a fox with his favorite stuffed bunny rabbit. I did this one just to see if it would sell, and it did!

[IMAGE]A picture of a ringtail cat with a saxophone! This one, like the gong dragon on Page 1, was done for the program book for a convention. I'd never drawn a ringtail before and tried my hand at it. I'll probably do a few more of this character, I kinda like her!

[IMAGE]Shekels, from Blood From a Stone. He's a Chimera. This was my first character sketch of him, it was very hard to draw a two-headed creature and make it look balanced, I didn't want to draw the torso too large, or the heads too small. It is *NOT* easy to draw a two-headed critter!

[IMAGE]Another Werewolf. this one was an experiment in dynamic shading and body pose. I really love using large areas of black in my artwork, and this guy came out looking great. I hope to do a few more like this.

[IMAGE]Yet ANOTHER picture of Zoltan! (You getting tired of him yet?) I did this one as an experiment to compare different coloring techniques. The right side was done in colored pencil and turpentine, and the left was colored in solid black and then had the pencil layered on over the black. I prefer the right side.

[IMAGE]This was the FIRST picture of Zoltan I ever did. It was also my first attempt at figuring out his color scheme. After I finished, I found that the background looked empty and asked my friend John Nunnemacher for advice on what color to use. (John's a genius with color usage, and helped me out a lot). I ended up giving the original away to a friend.
