| A Simple Extraction: Captain Dyn Barbas of the Correllian Corvette known as the Saber's Edge and his best
officers have been captured and are awaiting transportation to an Imperial prison on Coruscant. It will be a great blow to the rebellion if these fine officers fall into the hands of the emperor... and it will be up to you to save them before its too late. The job won't be an easy one. A spy working within the Empire has allowed for a very small window which will allow the Rebels to land within an hour's walk from the ship, plus he has given the rebels a path they can take to avoid patrols, and has stashed some uniforms so that the group may sneak inside without attracting too much notice. The problem is that the spy was only able to obtain low level access for the players. They can get into the supply room, the soldiers' quarters, the mess hall, and that's about it. The rebels were instructed to try and rescue the captain and his crew while they were going to be transferred later that day to the transport ship that was going to take them to Coruscant. The prisoners would be out of the high security brig of the Imperial base and out in the open. There's just been one minor problem...
... The transfer has been delayed for three days. Our heroes must spend the next three days pretending to be Imperial soldiers. They will be given patrol work, duties in the base, and will have to dodge questions and do their best to 'act natural' during this time. They will have to deal with pranks in the
barracks, nosy soldiers wondering who the heck they are, drills, and other troubling things. The base could even get attacked by critters and the group will have to go up against them along with the other Imps. If one of the members gets sniffed out, he'll join Barbas in Jail... but it does not mean automatic failure for everyone else. It'll just mean that they'll be one more prisoner to rescue.
During this time, they will have ample opportunity to get in good with
the guards watching the prisoners, and might even get assigned to guard duty for the prison and get to talk with the Captain and his crew. They will get chances to sabotage the security systems, get on duty to join the escort guard that are accompanying the prisoners to Coruscant, and capture a ship to fly back to base in. Their success will depend on how 'convincing' they behaved during the three days. If nobody trusts them they'll probably be relegated to latrine duty... if they worked hard at being convincing then they'll be the first in line.
