Fenter, ahhh Fenter... my nutty little chaos mage. Those of you familiar with Terry Pratchett's Discworld will find some obvious influences between Rincewind and Fenter, but not enough to be an obvious ripoff. This character was originally created as a way of showing a bunch of whiny players that they could roleplay goofy things if they actually put forth
the effort. Fenter is a good release, but he also takes a bit out of me whenever I play him. He also requires actual preparation before gametime... namely I have to gobble a bunch of candy and down a highly caffinated beverage until my brain starts firing off neurons randomly enough to get the goofyness going. Still, he's a treasure to play. Name: Fenter Nuttzenboltzen
Aliases: &%$#@!!!! Sex: Male Species: Rath'Ani (Raccoon) Age: 30ish Height: 4'6"
Weight: 180lbs Occupation: Chaos Mage and part time defender of the world Fenter's a slacker. He wants to go through life with as little effort as possible. He's short, fat, and clumsy. Life keeps trying to boot him along though.
And amazingly for someone that just wants to lie in bed and sleep all day he's accomplished quite a bit. He has an amazing knack at languages and an amazing streak of dumb luck. He helped discover a newly created Sky island and is revered as a Sky God by the Vykarin because his eyes change color (due to an accident with something he ate). He currently owns a sentient little plant that he
lovingly refers to as 'Junior' and pays the bills by performing street magic. There is another side to him though. The part of him that has saved the world from the clutches of evil time and time again. The great unsung hero. He has an almost symbiotic relationship with a bat named Wyckyd who wants to take over the world... using everything from soap to noodles to chocolate. They never
actually do any harm to anyone, and if they weren't so busy being worst of enemies they'd probably be the best of friends. The thing that makes Fenter such a ball to play is his complete and utter lack of pride. He doesn't get huffy if you make fun of him (except in a goofy manner), and he'll charge right into a situation that he knows will make him look like an utter fool. Sadly, Fenter's gone into semi-retirement now and I mostly use him as an NPC for other plots. He'd sort of ended up with an adopted kid and the fact that he was actually going to be responsible for someone sort of made him difficult to play anymore. Still, I've enough characters to keep me busy. Would you like to read about some of his
